Minutes from the December 28, 2011 Organization Committee Meeting Meeting: 12.28.2011 Jonathan's Restaurant, Endwell, NY Attending: Chris Granger Maria Fusco (Sportelli) Judy Healander (Pukancik) Vera Komanowski Carolyn (Clegg) and Joe Pitarra Jeff Kellam Linda Bull (Sterling) Chris Jogo (Westgate) Chris Granger brought printouts with all pertinent information as to the reunion website. The stress is on getting this information out to all grads and to have it passed on so that we have we are able to find everyone and that we have the most current information. Carolyn and Joe Pitarra have set up our checking account with M&T Bank. Pat Harder will be giving them that was left over from the last reunion. The Pitarra's and Chris Jogo will be adding enough money to that balance to cover the deposit for the Sons of Italy that is reserved for Aug. 11, 2012. The checking account has been set up at the M&T Bank under the name: "U-E Class 1962 Reunion." There is no charge for this account and all checks will also be free. Classmates should make their checks payable to: "U-E Class 1962 Reunion" and mail them to the treasurer: Carolyn Clegg Pitarra 2415 Dutchtown Road Endicott, N.Y. 13760. She will give the account status and any transactions at each committee meeting. There was discussion as to what favors might be possible for the grads. Ex...cups, T-shirts etc. More discussion to follow at the next meeting. Jeff Kellam will be contacting the Press and other local papers in nearby areas to publish the date and info on reunion. He also asks for any photos that anyone might have to share with the group...to get with him. Jeff also will contact Coaches Angeline and Nicosia to learn about faculty members that may be able to attend the reunion. Son’s of Italy and Sports Page for a new dates, August 11 or August 25. of 2012. Because of power outage locally, we were unable to make the call. Chris W. will make the call later. We will also be checking on details of pricing for food and hall. If Sons of Italy is not available—we will check on Elks Club. A call was made to Chris Granger. He has set up a website for access to all graduates to edit their own listing. The site is http://www.UETigers62.org. Marcia Tilly Nielson and Chris Granger have made some progress on finding graduates but require everyone's assistance in locating people. We will be able to make labels for mailing..per Chris Granger. Jeff Kellam will be contacted for his photos from the 62 class at UE. Vera Komanowski was in touch with Carl Borning. He would help in any way. Carolyn and Joe Pitarra have volunteered to handle the treasury. They will open an account at M&T bank. Chris W. will send minutes of the meeting each time to Chris Granger.
